STATEMENT FOR FISCAL PURPOSES 2025

1. Information regarding the Controller and the Data Protection Officer
The Controller of Your personal data is the Poznań Sports and Recreation Centres (POSiR) with a registered office in Poznań at 34 Spychalskiego Street, postal code 61-553, Poznań, Poland, phone 618357901, e-mail: sekretariat@posir.poznan.pl (hereinafter referred to as “We”).
We have designated the Data Protection Officer, with whom You may contact in the written form, submitting Your correspondence to the aforementioned address with a note: “Data Protection Officer”, under the following phone number: 618357917 or via e-mail to the following address: iod@posir.poznan.pl.

2. Purposes of the processing for which Your personal data are intended and legal basis for the processing
We will process Your personal data, because You have signed up for the Competition. Therefore, your data will be processed in order to conclude the contract on participating in the Competition with You and its performance on the basis of:
  • a) Art. 6 section 1(a) of the GDPR (the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes) if you have given us consent to use your image in POSiR promotional materials,
  • b) Art. 6 section 1(b) of the GDPR* (processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract),
  • c) Art. 6 section 1 (c) of the GDPR (processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Controller is a subject).
  • d) Art. 6 section 1 (e) of the GDPR (processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest…) and art. 81 section 2 points 1 of the Copyright Act on related rights – regarding the use of your image for the purposes of documenting the competition.

3. Recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed
In certain situations, we have a right to transfer Your data further (if necessary) in order to render our services. We may transfer Your data to the processors, with which we have concluded the contracts, in particular: - on rendering servicing of the IT systems used by us, - on using electronic mail servers and web sites (so-called electronic mail and web site hosting). - on IT servicing of the competition, including, inter alia, time measurement, - on realisation of promotional films and photos, - on damaging archive documents. The Polish Athletic Association (PZLA), bank in case of payment of the financial awards, insurers (in case You have an accident) and public entities that perform their responsibilities on the basis of the applicable law provisions will be the recipients of Your personal data. Furthermore the recipient of your data may be the owner of the Facebook social networking site on the terms in respect of data stipulated by Facebook available at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy, the owner of the Instagram social networking site on the terms available at https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388 and the owner of the X social networking site on the terms available at https://x.com/pl/privacy and the owner of YouTube service on the terms available at https://www.youtube.com/intl/ALL_pl/howyoutubeworks/our-commitments/protecting-user-data/

4. From where we may receive Your personal data?
If You have signed up for the Competition through Aktisport Sp. z o.o. (Aktisport Ltd.), so we have received Your personal data through the intermediary of this company.

5. Period for which the personal data is stored
Having achieved the previously mentioned primary purpose, for which Your data has been collected, the data shall be processed for the archival purposes within a period compliant with the applicable archival law provisions. In case of ticking any of the consent above, your data will be processed until You withdraw Your consent to its processing.

6. Rights You have as the data subjects related to processing Your personal data
You have a right to request us to get an access to Your data in order to amend and delete it or restrict its processing, as well as to object to processing and transferring Your data – pursuant to the applicable provisions. You have the right to object at any time - for reasons related to you special situation - regarding the processing of your personal data based on Art. 6 section 1 (e) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time, too. The withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on this consent before its withdrawal. You have a right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Protection of Personal Data Office related to processing Your Personal data, if the You consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the provisions of the GDPR.

7. Obligation to provide data
Providing your personal data is a prerequisite for a participation in the Competition. You are not obliged to provide it, but a failure to provide your data will result in the inability to participate the Competition. Giving a consent to use your image in POSiR promotional materials is not obligatory.

8. Transferring personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), profiling and automated decision-making
We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area, subject to (depending on the consents given by You) the transnational nature of the data flow on the Internet, including Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube services. These services may transfer your data outside the European Economic Area, where other provisions on the protection of personal data apply. These services can process the image with the use of the technical methods used for facial biometrics, as well as process your data in the automated manner, including profiling.
